The 27th Congressional District of California on the map looks like an inverted "U" over the San Fernando Valley, between the Santa Monica and San Gabriel mountains. On the east it includes part of Burbank, famous as the home of the NBC studios and Disney's headquarters. Just to the north are the Sunland and Tujunga neighborhoods at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. The larger part of the district is on the western side of the Valley, including most of Granada Hills, Northridge, Van Nuys and Tarzana. (From the Almanac of American Politics)
